I am a senior Consultant in Critical care, Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine working at West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WSH) and St Edmund Hospital since 2013 . I am also the Clinical Director of Anaesthesia , Critical Care, Theatres and Preassessment at WSH since 2020 with the strategical goals to provide high quality care to our patients. In addition to working as crtical care physician, I am very experienced in providing anaesthetic services to a variety of surgical specialties ( Orthopaedics, gynaecology, plastics, ENT, general surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics etc..).

About me:
I qualified in India around 2003 and moved to England to undertake further training in 2004. I have completed dual speciality training in anaesthesia and critical care in 2013. I have started working as substantive consultant at WSH and St Edmunds Hospital since. I developed interest in point of care ultrasound in critical care and, as a course director, I have been running my national course- FUSIC since 2015. I have been a local principal investigator for many national research projects at WSH since 2013. I am a keen teacher and an examiner of European Critical Care Exam (EDIC).
Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing tennis, traveling and spending time with my family. I am married and have 3 children, however my wife is the lead player of my family who looks after us well.
